Steven's space

I went to Death Valley to camp with my friends for 3 days 2 nights. I have leaned something new in this fun trip. First of all, you don't have too spend too much money yet, you will have lots of fun when camping in the wildness. Second of all, there are lots of good places that are waiting for us to explore in U.S.

 

For example, Death Valley National Park is such an ideal place to camp in winter. Usually, people dont' go there in the summer time becaue the day temperature can easily hit 55 C. It it described as the hottest place in the World. However, the average temperateure is about 25 to 30 in winter time. My friends and I hiked many places and saw many amazing sceneries. We still miss lots of places becasue we don't have enough time.

 

I also experienced that the real meaning of the life is lying on a bench, watchign the blinking stars, and enjoying the power of bonfire. Needless to say, I have to go back to that place again in the near future.

I was waiting in the line for polling place at 6:30 am. The major reason why i wanted to vote is because of  the propositoin 8 ,which is the elimination of  same sex marriage in the state of California. According to the Bible, it is a sin to have intimate relationiship with the same sex for man and woman. Some people may claim it's human right, people have the freedom of chioce. It concerns me a lot becasue if we legalized same sex marriage then people may say the family members can marry family members, Youth can marry to adults as long as they like it because it's also the freedom of choice.

 

I vote Yes on Proposition8 not only because i defend the traditonal marriage, but also for my children. Can you image that your son or daughter can be chased by the same sex if we didn't write this law into the constitution of california. I don't discriminate gay or lesbian but i discrimate those people who twiste the real meaning of " freedom of Choice" and claim it's the human rights.

 

Vote Yes on Proposition 8.

 

 

 

I was talking to Wesley ( wei) yesterday, and He wanted me to sent him a link to his MSN. I told him to go sign in so that i can send the link to him. He replied, My acccount is always appearing offline. You can just send it to me and i would see it. I asked him why he would do somthing like that all the time?

 

He said" Steven 你不了解我的痛苦只要我一上網就收到一推 messages 煩都煩死了.

 

 

Umm, i think this is the best joke he has ever told me....

I was very angry and pissed when Dodgers lost the game yesterday. It soon reminded me of my high school life. When I was in High school, Kevin and I love to trash talk to each other after our favorite team lost the game. I still remember when Portland Trail blazers lost to lakers in 2000. i wasn't happy at all for over 1 week... I was just too into the game at that time.

 

Nowadays, I still watch MLB and NBA playoff but i am not as much into the game as before. I would still be pissed and mad when my team lost. But, I become normal again the next day. Because after all, a game is just a game, and there is no need to let the result affect your mood. Maybe it's a sigh that i am a more mature person than before. Anyway, GO Dodgers..... Go Manny.....

跟我很 close 的人都知道我很喜歡看歷史劇尤其是 雍正王朝. 我看了三便每次看感觸都不一樣 第一次我看的時後只覺得當皇上真好要什麼有什麼 要臣死他不敢活 天下都是他的好不快樂 第二次看時發現當皇帝其實一點都不好有時甚至還不如一個平民百姓 如光緒. 雍正自己也做到累死在劇中 還有更多的皇帝皇儲為了當皇上殺來殺去 真當上了又怕別人奪權弒君.

 當跟 Kevin and Chris 討論時我們的結論是當個不管事的王爺才對. 當然 Chris 還是心有大志想當乾隆. 我只希望他不要變浦儀 or崇貞 ....... 

第三次看時我開始 pay attenton 給劇中每件事的計謀,每個謀事說的話, 八爺 四爺處事的方法氣度 康熙的反應. 我覺的自己從當中學到不少知識 such as, 康熙要那些阿哥要先靜口, 才修身, 齊家, 制國, 平天下. 靜口就是不亂造謠身事有一就說一. 我看完後就期許自己也先靜口,修身, 齊家. There are still many good points that touch me alot in the drame. I can't point all of them out now.

 

現在我在看 "大明王朝" this is another awesome drama. i suggest you guys to see it if you have time.
